Yin Yoga can complement an already active life or help those who feel distracted by “mind chatter”. Constantly emailing, texting and posting social media updates can lead to mental overload and a feeling that we are not good enough or achieving enough. Yin Yoga can provide an antidote to this.
This one off Yin Yoga session will differ from our usual yoga classes as it is floor based and involves holding positions for 3-7 minutes to increase flexibility.
Vigorous activities such as running and cycling are classed as yang; balancing your body with both yin and yang you can avoid fatigue and burnout.
