Wellbeing Month | Birchwood Park Listening Ears

Birchwood Park’s Wellbeing Week also coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme for this year is Loneliness.

Since the pandemic and the need to socially distance, isolate and the closure of many public spaces millions of people have suffered from loneliness. It has been proven to be a key issue when it comes to poor mental health.

Did you know about Birchwood Park’s Listening Ears service? They are a free service and are available to our occupiers to sit down and chat. The service isn’t just available during Wellbeing Week so if you’re looking for a listening ear or you just would someone to sit with and have a chat, please pop over to see them.

Monday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th October from 11:00am – 11:30am
Wednesday 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th October from 12:00pm – 12:30pm

General Wander & Walkie Talkie

If you’d rather get some steps in while you’re at it try joining our chaplains for a walk. They will be walking around the lake and then walking through the Park down to The Wood Shed at Bridgewater Place. Please stop them to say hello if you have time to chat.
