Walk from Darkness into the Light with Warrington Cares to help prevent suicide

94 men in the UK die by suicide every week. Warrington Cares are looking for up to 94 physically fit people to join the walk on 10th Sept at 2.30am in support of World Suicide Prevention Day.
Leaving from the home of the Widnes Vikings RLC – the DCBL Stadium, at 2.30am the walk will head to the home of the Warrington Wolves, the Halliwell Jones Stadium. From there walkers will head on to the Golden Square Shopping Centre for breakfast barms and a farewell at approximately 6.30am.

Warrington Cares hopes to help end the stigma around talking about suicide and also increase awareness of the services and support available to people who may be struggling. The walk will take in the scenic banks of the River Mersey and the Sankey Canal on its way to the Halliwell Jones Stadium and led by fully qualified LiveWire Warrington Walk leaders and volunteers.
