In March, our occupier Vestas supported Trinity Hospice by raising £654.38 for the palliative care and support they offer to terminally ill cancer patients.
They chose to raise this for Trinity to raise awareness and support of the work they do and at the time, they were providing amazing care to the dad (Garry) of one of the Team Leaders in Offshore Service Resources (Lisa Smith).
Sadly, Garry lost his fight to Cancer on 1st April and they are now wanting to raise some more money in his memory and to help Trinity continue their care and support for other patients and families.
Trinity run on only 10% government funding, so rely heavily on donations. Therefore,
they are planning to cycle from their Birchwood Park office to the Hospice in Blackpool on Sunday 15th October.
If you wish to take part, you can either cycle the full route, part of the route, or lend a hand with support on the day. If you can’t physically take part in any way, sponsorships for the team are more than welcome.
