North West employees of Miller Homes were able to enjoy a day of team building, business updates, and other treats at Birchwood Park at the end of last month, for a day they coined the ‘Miller Meet’. Most of the day’s events unfolded on the Green, following an initial company update in the style of ITV’s ‘This Morning’ which was hosted in the main auditorium.
The idea of the Miller Meet was to bring together team members from various disciplines across the North West, including those with office based roles in the Miller Homes regional office at Birchwood Park, Warrington as well as those in the production and sales teams who are based at the various Miller Homes development sites across the region.
Awards were handed out to members of the Miller Homes North West region, including to Matthew Hughes for Employee of The Year, Shannon Rowlands was given the Outstanding Community Contribution award and several employees were recognised for their long service and outstanding commitment to Miller Homes.
Following the company updates and awards ceremony, the Miller Meet event continued out on to the Green in the centre of Birchwood Park where teams competed in ‘Crystal Maze’ style games and enjoyed refreshments outside, including from an Ice Cream van! Donned in eye catching branded Miller Homes T Shirts, the other Birchwood Park workers and local residents must surely have passed the goings on and wondered who they were – now you know!
