Our local Warrington Foodbank are running low on donations and need our help!

The foodbank is a lifeline to many within the community. They rely heavily on the general public’s generosity and donations- up to 90% of their donations come from the public.

Throughout September Birchwood Park will be a drop off point for donations to the foodbank. Donation baskets will be placed in Receptions across the Park at 101, 103 and 104 Dalton Avenue, 301, 303 and 304 Bridgewater Place, Chadwick House, 401 Faraday St, Engine Rooms and Alive and Well, so please help wherever you can by dropping off donations to the baskets.

Accepted items include all non-perishable items (tins, cartons, jars etc.) and toiletries and cleaning products.

The top 10 items they are most in need of at the moment are;

  • Tea
  • Rice Pudding
  • Coffee
  • UHT Milk (green or blue)
  • Sugar
  • Tinned Meat
  • Custard
  • Tinned Veg
  • Jam
  • Tinned Fish

As well as food donations Warrington Foodbank are also currently looking for volunteer drivers for their Vans. So, if you could spare some time to help them out then you can apply on the following link: https://warrington.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/volunteer/
