Meet the chaplains over some relaxing craft activities – enjoy a few mindful moments out of your busy day

Once a month chaplains will be offering mindful activities at the Engine Rooms from 12.30pm – 1.30pm, next session Monday 22nd November.

Please feel free to join us for as long or as little as you wish, we’ll have a variety of activities available to help you to take a little ‘me’ time. It’s surprising how relaxing a little crafting can be, giving your mind time to focus on something other than day to day work or life issues.

Have you tried your hand at card making or mindful colouring yet? What about crochet? Did you know that you can crochet a coaster to take home with you in about twenty minutes if the mood takes you, or maybe make a card for someone you want to share some love with.

Even if you’d just like to sit and chat / watch others doing the crafting, you are very welcome to join us. Hope to see you on the 22nd.

In the meantime music can also be a great way to enjoy a few moments of ‘me time’. YouTube has a great selection of relaxing music videos that are paired with some beautiful images. If you have a few moments spare you might want to explore some of the following links. I hope you enjoy.

If you don’t manage to catch up with one of us in person, as always you can contact us via email on info@mitechaplaincy.com where you can request a call-back, or you are very welcome to call me directly on my mobile: 07526 378529 either to chat or to arrange a time to meet with one of the chaplains.
