Cavendish Nuclear has been delivering critical support in partnership with EDF to help keep the nation’s lights on.
The leading nuclear services company and Birchwood Park occupier has been at the forefront of providing critical spares to its customer EDF Energy throughout the outbreak of Covid-19.
The important work, which includes the continuation of projects vital for energy generation, is being carried out at their Whetstone facility where measures have been put in place to ensure minimal risk for employees whilst maintaining effective service.
Matthew Dearden, Manufacturing Manager said, “It’s been great to see all the people in the works pulling together, picking up additional duties and covering where we have vulnerable people off site. We really are all in this together – as colleagues and in partnership with the customer EDF.”
