Dave Twentyman
Dave is upbeat, cheery, down to earth, friendly, warm, quick on his feet…just some words that have been used to describe one of the most naturally funny comics on the UK comedy circuit today. He has performed at a number of music festivals such as Leeds, V Festival and Download. Its no wonder then that Dave is one of the few modern comedians who proudly features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet – a relatively new tourist attraction featuring the names of comedy greats from past and present and a huge honour for any comic. He’s an affable, quick-witted comedian who somehow survived a childhood in St Helens by evolving rapid, startlingly-bright patter and a smile that he somehow stole from Barry Manilow. With jokes and tales that you can’t help but relate to, he endears himself to even the rowdiest of audiences with ease and quite rightly is in hot demand at the biggest comedy clubs in the UK and overseas. Dave has appeared on Made In The Northwest (ITV) and his radio credits include XFM Manchester, BBC Manchester & Key 103
Louise Young
Hailing from Newcastle, Louise Young has quickly become one of the brightest new names on the comedy circuit. She is a regular at clubs up and down the country including the Glee Clubs, Komedia, and The Stand. Louise has supported the likes of Jason Manford and Alan Carr on their nation wide UK and Ireland tours. In 2020, she was nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, and the following year was nominated for Leicester Comedy Festival’s Best Festival Appearance. Louise was also a finalist in the Funny Women Awards in 2018. Louise has presented a weekly comedy radio show on BBC Radio Newcastle, and at the 2020 Gillard Awards won a commendation for Newcomer of the Year on the station. Louise also wrote and acted in Channel 4’s Original Comedy shorts on three sketches, one of which gained over five million views and went on to receive North East RTS award. As heard on BBC Radio 4’s Fred at The Stand, and soon to be seen on Comedy Central Live!
Jordan Ducharme
Jordan is a Canadian born comedian on the rise. ? From humble beginnings starting in Vancouver (CA), Jordan worked hard to become a solid comedian on the local circuit. Not only performing comedy regularly in the city but hosting and producing a variety of shows. Jordan began comedy hoping to adopt the witty and gritty type of humour that made him fall in love with stand up as a teenager. He’s continued to mature into a competent powerhouse on stage, with no subject off limits and no stone left unturned in his own life. ? Moving to Manchester in 2019, Jordan was quick to make a big splash, quickly winning the local clubs gong show competitions and transitioning them into work at said clubs. ? Keep your eyes peeled for Jordan on nearby shows in the city as he continues to build himself into one of the more promising comedians the UK has to offer.
