Hopefully you are aware that Birchwood Park is supporting two charities this year; Alder Hey Children’s Charity and Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice. Last month we introduced Alder Hey, we would now like to introduce Zoë’s Place.
Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool is 1 of only 3 baby specific hospices in the UK who provide palliative, respite and end of life care for poorly babies and terminally ill children aged 0-5 years old. We provide 1 to 1, 24 hour specialist nursing care.
Since the hospice opened in 1995 fundraising has continued to provide nurses and specialist equipment for the benefit of our babies and their families.
Each year, the financial requirements of the Hospice increase and we currently need to raise approximately £1,600,000 per annum. We are extremely thankful to everyone who has already shown support of Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice and hope that you are able to continue your support as we move forward, endeavouring to improve our facilities and help even more families.
If you or your company would like to help raise money for Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice, take a look at the list of fund raising events here or find out more at http://www.zoes-place.org.uk/liverpool/about/what_we_do.aspx
