Happy New Year to all our fellow residents here at Birchwood Park from Vestas! 2022 was a very busy year for the whole company, including the team based here at Birchwood supporting our sales, construction and service operations in the UK.
With renewable energy being a massive focus for the country to both meet our climate obligations and to be part of the push for energy independence, 2023 and beyond will be another busy year.
The great team we have here in Warrington are involved in supporting the largest percentage of onshore wind farms being constructed in the UK right now and two of the UK’s largest offshore windfarms.
We support the service and maintenance of over 900 wind turbines delivering over three Gigawatts of clean energy for the UK. In 2023 we will be getting ready to support a further 400 turbines on and offshore entering long term service contracts.
In 2022 we were pleased to get involved in a number of events here at the Park. One example as hosting a “MacMillan Coffee Mornings” which was very well supported raising £400 through the cake sale and raffle.
