Danny Deegan

With the confidence and swagger that you might expect of a North-West comedian at the very top of his game, Danny Deegan is a comedian, writer and actor who has become a regular at most of the major comedy clubs in the UK since he began performing in 2003.

Danny’s tales of mischief and the characters he creates have kept audiences all over the country enthralled as he weaves in and out of the people he has met traveling. His talent and likability coupled with his confidence make him one of the most popular acts in the North, a master at dealing with a tough crowd, and an act that promoters always turn to when booking gigs.

Danny is a seasoned headliner and MC, with credits including work for promoters such as Off The Kerb, The Glee, Ten Feet Tall, Frog & Bucket, CKP, The Stand and Avalon.

Danny also recently performed a headline set at the Green Man festival in South Wales getting a great reception from the 400 people in the comedy tent and being asked to wrap up for Manchester band “The Doves” after their headline set in front of 12,000 people.

Away from live work, Danny has made several radio appearances, from being a guest on Radio GMR to having his own show “Afternoons with Danny Deegan” on CAT FM in Crewe, whilst his TV credits include appearances on “Made in the North” and “The Adam and Shelley Show” to name but two.

Danny has also also provided tour support for Chris Ramsey, Mick Foley, Dave Spikey & Paul Sinha as well as performing in Switzerland.

Faizan Shah

Faizan is a Manchester-based comic who moved to the UK as a child, his well-crafted jokes make light of growing up in an immigrant household and the inevitable mental health challenges it brings. The quality of Faizan’s joke writing, and affable stage presence has seen him progress quickly from beating Comedy Store’s King Gong and Frog and Bucket’s Beat the Frog to now breaking through the circuit with a strong 20 minute set and performing at both those venues pro weekend gigs in under 2 years. We believe Faizan to be one of the most exciting new acts to come out of Manchester for a few years. “Some very good gags and a nice delivery” – COLIN FRY ?”Nicely paced, deadpan delivery” Chortle. Tour Support for Danny McLoughlin, Kae Kurd, Axel Blake, Guz Khan, Hayley Ellis

Jules O’Brian

First took to the stage in 2017, at The Comedy Loft, in Birmingham, as part of a night for charity. A keen fan of Rik Mayall, French and Saunders, Victoria Wood, and Joan Rivers, as well as Katherine Ryan, Tim Minchin, Amy Schumer, and the Brum-based Luisa Omielan, Jules states her stand-up style is “Butter wouldn’t melt meets Is That All There Is?” (a reference to the dark song made famous by singer Peggy Lee). An English Tutor, Jules currently lives in Tamworth, Staffordshire, and performed a sell-out ‘triple-header’ with pals Tal Davis and Hannah Weetman during 2021’s Birmingham Comedy Festival. Jules O’Brian was shortlisted for Funny Women 2021, and performs at venues and festivals around the country, telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating. She is TalkTalk’s official voice – chosen by none other than the legend Bernard Cribbins – and her silly writings feature frequently in magazines including Prima and MamaLife. This former teacher’s relaxed and chatty style, crowd interaction and warmth, all served with a sardonic wit, make her a natural crowd pleaser.

Dan Nightingale

Host of Have a Word and one of British stand-up’s hidden gems; Dan Nightingale is one of the best performers found on the comedy circuit today. Mixing brilliant observation and energetic characterisations with killer punch lines, his comedy is original, playful, intelligent, exciting, sometimes ridiculous but always hilarious. He’s a natural with the crowd, bouncing off any audience interaction wonderfully, making him a much sought after host and MC. Yet he’s also an inventive writer and a great storyteller and his comedy sets, whether supporting or headlining, are a chance to see the full variety of his superb material and clever stagecraft. And if you really push him he’ll admit to being an excellent swimmer and a near genius in the field of gourmet cheese on toast.
