Legend has it that Scottish chef Angus McTochal took his culinary skills to the French royal court, influencing French cuisine as we know it today. Over two days The Garden Restaurant will be serving dishes inspired by this Scots-French connection:
Pistou soup with aioli
Chicken Cordon Bleu with Lyonnaise potatoes
Beef Bourguignon with savoury mushroom rice
Classic Cassoulet: Diced pork sausage casserole with beans
Ratatouille: A rich vegetable stew bound with a herb tomato sauce
Angus’s original salmon and dill bridie with samphire ragout
Served between 12-2pm on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th May.
