Saturday 19th October will see the start of some road maintenance along Faraday Street.
The section will be starting at the Bridgewater Road entrance to the turning at Cavendish Avenue/401 Faraday.
19th October – Road to be planed off. This will then be ramped with health and safety signage in place for the duration of the project.
24th October – Team will return to apply bituminous tack coat emulsion and begin laying new surface.
25th October – Complete the laying of the surface
26th October – Reline
During the working hours the road will have temporary traffic light system to manage the flow of traffic as a one lane system will be in operation.
Both sides of Faraday (working zone) will be taped or hurdle barriers installed to eliminate pedestrians in the working area for the duration.
The pedestrian crossings will remain open at either end of the working area.
