CRA’s 9th Annual Risk Forum: Speakers Announced

CRA’s 9th Annual Risk Forum, will bring together Risk Specialists working across a number of sectors to discuss: ‘My number, your number, our number’ – Managing expectations of all stakeholders.

Poster Session featuring research projects covering a range of topics including:

  • Exploring the human and organisational factors behind information security breaches using Systems-Theoretic Accident Model and Processes.
  • Quantification of Human Errors in Cyber Security in the Nuclear Sector.
  • The application of a Level 3 Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) to Small Modular Reactors. In particular assessing the off-site consequences of a given accident scenario, and see how these consequences scaled with power output. Does a division of the power output of a reactor by 10 imply a division by 10 of consequences?

Risk Forum Programme Timings

To allow ample time for delegates to travel to the CRA Risk Forum, the welcome address will be at
11am on Wednesday 26 September.

Delegates will be able to register from 930am to enjoy coffee, networking and to view the poster
session prior to the welcome address and formal start of proceedings. The day 1 talks will finish at
6pm. The pre-dinner drinks reception will commence at 730pm prior to the conference dinner at 8pm.

On Thursday 27 September, talks will commence at 9am and finish by 1pm. A farewell lunch will be
served at 1pm.
