This week is National Gardening Week so in celebration, our chosen charity of the year Walton Lea Partnership will be joining us our Allotments at Birchwood Park for an Open Day.
Through their Horticulture Enterprise the learners and staff at Walton Lea grow and care for plants from seed to sale. Their Horticulture team grow fruit and vegetables all year round in their large outdoor vegetable patches.
This is open to all our occupiers, not just Allotment users so pop down on your lunch to get some expert advice and gardening tips. They will also have some of their own plants with them to purchase on the day for you to get planting in your own gardens.
