£7368 Raised for Charity, 623 Food Donations & 22 Plus Engagement Activities

2022 at Haier UK & Ireland has been a year full of camaraderie, compassion and fun!

The fantastic support from the Hoover Foundation and our colleague’s strength and performance has meant that 18 different charities have received an overwhelming number of donations, totalling £7368 and counting!

The year started with colleagues signing up to Manchester Marathons, fun runs in memory of our loved colleagues, to pyjama days, desk chair massages, Spooktacular fancy dress, tasting some delicious cake bakes, growing our moustaches (if we could) and silent bidding on some great Haier, Hoover and Candy products for charity!

The laughter and team spirit has been overwhelming and the passion and compassion to support our local communities has been inspiring! Where we have now been able to total up 623 food item donations by our colleagues to our local trussell trust food banks!

To ensure we continue the feeling of belonging and inclusion and achieve great things, we have invested in 13 amazing colleagues to be our D&I Champions, who will be creating an inclusive environment for all!

With our D&I Champions, Healthy Mind Champions, Social Circle Members and of course all of our colleagues at Haier UK & Ireland, 2023 is going to be a year full of passion, enthusiasm and excitement which will strengthen our team spirit and camaraderie.
