The 2016 Centre for Cities report has this week ranked Warrington in its Top Ten cities best placed to drive national economic growth.
The city scored sixth for employment and private sector job creation, recognising the contribution made by Warrington’s business community to the national economy. In addition, Warrington is the only top ten city not in the South of England – a fact that attests to the value of its transport connectivity, skill set and willingness to invest in fast growing, thriving, modern sectors.
Warrington’s ability to provide unparalleled value to businesses, whilst retaining the same benefits of its larger neighbours Manchester and Liverpool, has supported the success of out of town business destinations such as Birchwood Park.
