The independent fostering agency held its inaugural open day on 22nd March.
Independent fostering agency, Foster Cares Ltd, celebrated its recent move to Birchwood Park with an open day at Chadwick House on Wednesday.
The team invited foster carers, those being assessed as foster carers and independent assessors to the new offices, as well as staff from the agency’s North East base.
Speaking at the event, Ann Woods, Team Manager at Foster Cares Ltd, said: “We’ve only been at the park a few weeks but the whole team has settled in really quickly. With the amenities and real community feel here, it has been easy to adjust to the new surroundings without disruption to our work across the North West.”
Foster Cares Ltd joined Birchwood Park in February this year having outgrown its previous base in Manchester city centre and completing the search for a new North West base with excellent connectivity to the surrounding region.
Ann continued: “We wanted to take this opportunity to welcome our foster carers and assessors to our new offices – this will be their home as much as it is ours. We’re really pleased with the turnout today and are looking forward to seeing our network of foster carers grow while at Birchwood Park.”
