Amentum’s ANSWERS® software is used by customers worldwide for reactor physics, radiation shielding, dosimetry, nuclear criticality, well logging and nuclear data.
Members of the ANSWERS Software Service team are coming to Birchwood on 6th November to demonstrate what the software can do and explain how our experienced consultants and analysts solve issues for our clients.
Utilised by the nuclear industry for almost 40 years, ANSWERS codes are used on a range of reactor types, including AGR, Magnox, PWR, BWR, CANDU, VVER, RBMK, PBMR, SMRs, SFRs, as well as other advanced and experimental reactors.
This free event at the Engine Rooms, Birchwood Park, will include one-on-one sessions to outline the capabilities of our software codes MONK®, MCBEND®, WIMS® and Visual Workshop.
Wednesday 6th November
9.30am – 2.30pm
EngineRooms, Birchwood Park
It is a demonstration day so there is the flexibility to fit around you; a ten-minute chat if you are short on time or longer sessions for a more detailed discussion on how the codes and be applied to your specific needs.
Alan Charles, ANSWERS Manager, said: “We will talk about the latest developments in our releases including random geometries, burnup credit, part transfer and new CAD import options for MONK and MCBEND; whole core modelling, fuel management and external code-coupling options for WIMS; and the latest visualisation options to support all codes in Visual Workshop. “The team will be there to discuss how our codes can be applied to client specific application needs, answer any questions, and talk about future developments within the ANSWERS codes.”
