Sundown Festival, Thursday 28th September

St. Michael’s Day was a special day in the Celtic calendar to celebrate the start of the harvest. Early traditions believe that the festival was started by Lugh to honour his foster-mother Taitiu. The occasion was marked with feasting and horse-riding.

We want to honour this by hosting The Sundown Festival to mark the end of the summer and celebrate the harvest.

When: Thursday 28th September
Time: 12-2pm
Where: The Centre & Chadwick House

Entertainment includes Amy playing her electric violin and Dave the saxophonist in Chadwick House and our close up magician MagicALEXcellence

The Big Pan or “Mac Pan” will pitch up at the entrance to The Centre offering Scottish Street Food.
The Garden Restaurant will offer Street Food from The Caribbean, Brazil, Thailand, India and sunny Rochdale

We’ve got lots going on today – we hope to see you there!
