This one-day seminar aims to give delegates an introduction to Safety Cases, as well as a taster of:
- What shielding & criticality are
- How these disciplines fit into the wider nuclear industry
- The wide range of career paths available in these fields.
The event will give attendees an insight into a career in Criticality and Shielding and the different applications across the industry for which it is applicable. It will also give attendees an opportunity for personal development / learning and networking.

Who is the event for: The event is aimed at delegates from all backgrounds and career levels within the nuclear industry, including but not limited to; early career level (graduates, apprentices, PhDs, students) to experienced nuclear professionals, professionals moving roles or looking to specialise in a new topic. We typically have a mix of experienced nuclear professionals, graduates and apprentices in attendance.
