Wake up with Yoga

Now the light mornings are starting to creep back in, have you thought about attending our morning yoga classes at 401 Faraday Street?

Yoga is the perfect way to start your day, not only does it help to relax, but did you know it also has the following benefits:

    As you concentrate on holding simple poses, you are forced to keep focus which wakes you up and readies you for your working day.
  2. It boosts your energy
    Scientifically speaking, moving your body involves cell movement – this increases your cells’ oxygenation. When this oxygen is refreshed, your whole body is invigorated and refreshed. Doing simple movements will make you feel fresher, lighter and more awake!
  3. It reduces stress
    The more oxygenated your body is, the clearer focus you will have meaning you will be automatically relaxed, less anxious and ready for a positive day ahead.
  4. It boosts metabolism
    Spending 20-30 minutes in the morning doing simple yoga poses will boost your metabolism and actually improves digestion – the perfect excuse for a treat at lunch!
  5. It tones your body
    Building strength and endurance can really help tone your body. The poses used in Yoga use different muscle groups to support your whole body weight. Research has shown that regular yoga practice was just as effective as stretching-strengthening exercises in improving functional fitness!
