During the Coronavirus pandemic many of our occupiers have being going above and beyond to help workers on the front line in a number of different ways.
Sam Cunningham from Yellowbus at 401 Faraday Street has been hand making rainbow coloured ear protectors for NHS workers to keep their ears from hurting whilst wearing a face mask.
After Sam posted a photo of the rainbow protectors on social media, requests came from across the Northwest, and she was able to send them to the Radiology department at Bolton Hospital, the A&E department at Alder Hey Hospital and Keate Care Home among others.
In total, Sam has distributed approximately 321 of the rainbow ear protectors, with more in production as we speak – amazing!
