The Hand on Heart team will be offering 30 minute sessions starting from 10am onwards throughout the day, for you to learn your life saving skills. Come and see Emma and Lesley to have your free taster session in basic life support skills including CPR, learning about the heart to and learning how to use a defibrillator.

Hand on Heart’s mission is to keep children safe and prevent the deaths of 12 young people who die of sudden cardiac arrest each week in the UK.
FACTS
- When someone has a cardiac arrest, every minute without defibrillation reduces their chances of survival by 10%
- If a defibrillator is used and effective CPR is performed within the first 3 to 5 minutes, survival chances increase from 6% to over 74%
