I would like to introduce ourselves for those who have not come across us in past newsletters. We are a local business and new to Birchwood Park. We have been supporting businesses and the community during the lockdowns. With COVID Fit to Fly certificates. This has enabled companies to continue with business overseas travel in compliance with the government regulations and restrictions. We have also assisted employees returning to the workplace after being infected with COVID Fit to Work certificates.
DAS is now also focusing on getting back to normality and is finally going back to what we do best. Which is protecting the workplace from drug and alcohol abuse. We are proud to offer all our clients a fast, reliable, and professional drug and alcohol testing service. Our portfolio includes hair, oral fluid, and urine tests for drugs and/or alcohol for all individuals within the workplace. We have vast experience in logistics, retail, warehouse and construction sectors to name a few.
Our partner lab is UKAS accredited and all confirmation results are provided within 3 days of sample receipt. Accuracy is important and a full chain of custody protects, not only the sample but also the individual and your business and it is admissible in a court of law, should the need arise.
As our main office is in Lovell House Birchwood Park we can offer a service to your site within minutes of call out. With or ‘Grab and Go’ service. We believe in carrying out testing to the highest standards, with integrity and understanding towards all parties involved. We offer great value for money and price our services accordingly.
Immediate access to our collection team at Birchwood Park is available Monday – Friday and includes emergency call out support over the weekends for any ‘For Cause’ testing. You will have your own dedicated case manager. We build our service around you, the customer. Any other testing can be booked in with 48 hours’ notice.
Every step of your requests will be aided by a highly professional and dedicated point of contact who will be able to offer advice and answer any questions you may have in relation to keeping your workplace safe and drug/alcohol free.
Our bespoke collections are reinforced by our collection team, who are highly trained and will always deliver a fast, friendly support, and our holistic approach ensures there is little disruption as possible by making the whole process clear to understand, simple to follow and most importantly, stress-free.
‘Pre employment testing’, pre application and selection to reduce the risk of employing someone who may have an issue with substance abuse.
‘For Cause’, to establish if an individual is impaired and is often used when there is justification to suspect an individual is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Also, if they have been involved in an accident in the workplace.
‘Random testing’ is used to send out a clear message to the employees that your workplace is a drug and alcohol-free space, and that substance abuse will not be tolerated.
