Cross-country charity champion heads for 401 Faraday

We are thrilled to welcome Ben Smith to Birchwood Park!

Ben is embarking on an incredible challenge to complete 401 marathons in 401 consecutive days, which wll see his journey plotted across 309 different UK locations.

His objective is to raise £250,000 for two amazing charities, Stonewall and Kidscape, both of which work tirelessly to combat bullying in our schools and discrimination throughout society. He will be completing another leg of this impressive feat in the Warrington area on the 1st April, running part of it through Forest Park and then dropping into Birchwood Park.

We would like you to get involved and show your support for Ben’s incredible nationwide sporting challenge by visiting The Centre and purchasing the 401 Challenges official wristbands. All donations go to the chosen charities.

Martin O’Rourke, Commercial Director at Birchwood Park, said: “This is an incredible challenge that Ben has embarked upon and we are delighted that we can support him by making his signature green bands available for purchase at The Centre. We look forward to seeing the Birchwood Park community getting behind this impressive athletic feat for a wonderful cause.”
