Risk models are considered by many within the rail industry to be a bit of a dark art with questionable value that may only be understood by few.
It is CRA’s position that use of high quality risk models can and should be embraced much more widely by Regulators, Designers and Operators at all stages of the system lifecycle to improve the quality of safety-related decision making and ultimately risk control.
You are invited to join CRA’s Chief Consultant, Ruairí Kennedy, who will be sharing some of his risk modelling experience during this webinar. He has worked on the design and maintenance of some of the world’s most renowned railway risk models in use today. He will consider the usefulness of a risk model at each stage in the system lifecycle and will propose ways in which they may be better used.
