Summer is on its way and that only means one thing – we welcome our fun-filled bootcamp classes back to Birchwood Park.
Bootcamp is a brilliant way to mix up your weekly exercise regime or a great option if you’re looking to kick start getting fit in a friendly and sociable environment. With every class focussed on strengthening and toning the whole body it’s the perfect answer to getting body confident this summer.
Join us every Tuesday and enjoy the fresh air (and hopefully sunshine) as we jog, squat and laugh around the park. You can also get involved on a Thursday evening, when we’ll be mixing up the activities, but still having fun, at the Alive & Well centre.
Fitness instructor Paul said “Bootcamp is a great way for people to get involved in exercise. The fresh air, group dynamic and range of activities makes it fun and easy to stick to. We’re hoping to get people’s heart rates up and their stress levels down, so they leave feeling refreshed and revitalised.”
This is a great offering to complement the Park’s facilities for health and well-being, which include fitness classes and cycle-to-work schemes.
