It’s that time of year again for Yellowbus…

For the past few years the team at Yellowbus have taken on extreme challenges to raise money and support local Charities. From racing across the Canadian rockys, racing in the London River race or taking on the 24 peaks challenge. This year the commercial director of Yellowbus, Mike Douglass is upping the ante again. On the 10th of March he is taking on an off-road 80KM run, but with a twist. Normally to undergo an Ultra-marathon, months and months of running 30+ miles is required to get fitness needed to cope with this sort of distance, to test what’s possible, Mike is focusing on strength & conditioning training instead of racking up the miles. All the other participants will have hundreds of miles under their belts, Mike won’t!

Mike will be supported by Yellowbus, Raw Strength, Alive & Well & LK Rehab in his mission to raise as much money as possible for St Roccos Hospice. For more information about Mike’s story & challenge, you can read here: https://www.justgiving.com/yellowbus80

Mike comments ‘Raising money for St Roccos is close to my heart as they have supported my family during a hard time. I know they help a lot of local families, and this is a way I can give back. I am getting nervous about not going over 10KM in my training, but have a lot in faith in Ant’s knowledge from RAW Strength gym, the time training with Alive & Well gym and also Laura from LK Rehab for helping keep me in one piece’
