Alive & Well Studio Timetable - Winter 2015

Enjoy working out with a choice of 30 classes from Monday to Friday at Alive & Well gym. Get fit, have fun and be strong!

Abs
Short on time but fancy a fab ab workout? If you’re on the hunt for that elusive six pack, this class will set you on the right road to finding it and chiseling that middle.

Body Blast
An incredibly intense workout to really push yourself and break a sweat. Fantastic for cardio, strength and endurance.

Body Combat
A high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn calories. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.

Body Pump
The ultimate weights based body conditioning class. Suitable for both males and females, it burns fat whilst toning those muscles – a must class for everyone.

Boxing
There’s a reason boxers are lean fighting machines – so discover the secret to their fitness success in this class. Increase your fitness, tone your body and burn body fat.

Fit Blast
Imagine circuit training that takes you to the limit. That’s Body Blast! A hardcore 60-minute workout where you’ll really feel the difference and see results.

Insanity
In this high-intensity total-body interval workout, you’ll perform challenging drills and explosive plyometrics designed to test your limits—no matter your fitness level. It’s the ultimate battle between your body and your mind—but you’ll get the hardest body of your life.

Spin
Get ready for the ride of your life with this 30 minute cycle workout in the gym. It’s a lower body high intensity cardio workout, and high energy!

Yoga (must be booked online)
Yoga is a wonderful work out for the body, helping to tone up muscles and increase flexibility, whilst calming the mind and de-stressing completely.

Pilates
A mat based workout aiming to build strength, particularly around the core area, as well as flexibility. Provides a great workout for both mind and body.

Piyo
Sweat, stretch, and strengthen—all in one workout. Using just your body weight, you’ll perform a series of low-impact, high-intensity Pilates and yoga inspired moves to work every single muscle of your body. The result? A long, lean, and incredibly defined physique.

Tabata
If you’re short on time then Tabata is the ideal class for you. Featuring intervals of 20 seconds of high intense work followed by 10 seconds rest, you’ll soon feel – and notice – the difference.

Session classes are limited. All classes must be pre-booked via Alive & Well on 01925 824 455 or in person at reception.

Members: All classes are included in your monthly membership.
Non Members: Yoga is £3 (Mon & Thurs) and £4 (Tuesday). All other classes are £5.50.

Classes require a minimum of three people to go ahead. Booking can be made up to 7 days in advance, but please make sure you cancel your class if you cannot make it. More than 3 ‘no shows’ without prior cancellation will result in a £10 fine.
